DORSAL ROOT GANGLION DENERVATION
In treating pain that is experienced in the arms, legs and the rest of the body in the medium term, electrical blocks of the pain signal are required. The technique is nearly identical to the chemical block where the medication is injected outside of the joint. The only difference is that an electrode is passed through the needle and a radiofrequency generator delivers a radiofrequency current through the electrode.
This is an electrical block of the pain signal and lasts for months/years.
