Sympathetic block/denervation
The Sympathetic nervous system is part of the autonomous nervous system, these nerves run as a string on the forward end of the vertebrae of the spine and form bundles of nerves or ganglia in specific locations. They are active in certain types of pain, and it is sometimes necessary to block or denervate them.
